Letters from Kids

Jasudben ML School
Mumbai

Greetings from Mumbai,

It has rightly been said, ‘alone we do so little, together we can do so much!' The welfare of all of us is bound by the welfare of each of us. We have to accept the fact that despite political differences between our governments, we share a common heritage, culture and roots. The peoples of both our countries should reach out to each other and this our main objective through this letter. We are very curious to know you all very well, your education, your culture and much more! We are sure through films like Veer-Zaara, which foster peace and goodwill would have left an impact on the younger generation just as songs of bands like Jal, Junoon and strings have become the craze of our nation! We definitely look forward to many more of them. That's all for now. We hope we have succeeded in what we wanted to convey, and we really hope you'll will keep in touch with us.

Two brothers born on a midnight and then given in different hands
Brought upon separate houses at two edges of the same land

Big boys on the playground enjoyed their fights
Not concerned with telling two what's right

They saw each other on the playground at twilight
Over petty things they used to fight…

It's time we get together and tell them that they are twins and their destines entwined

Khuda Hafiz.

Anam, Deeksha, and Divya
